Learning From My Betting Blunders

I have been betting on the net or at brick and mortar gambling halls for many years. I have learned, the craving can grab a hold of you and you will not even notice it up till you are bankrupt. Specifically if you are on a scoring streak. I have gone through uncounted thousands of dollars in just a short period of time and at times, I sometimes go a bit too long. It appears you are only enjoying yourself till you make a choice to consider your loss and the guilt settles in, and of course you keep advising yourself "I will be able to gain it back" ad nauseam. It doesn’t work. Then you get sick to your stomach and the harder you attempt the more rapidly you throw away.

When you discover that you are up, Remain in the Black! When you start to lose, do not convince yourself, "well just 1 more" and again and again, believe in me, this tactic RARELY ever functions. Say you plan on betting on slot machines, have a number separate prior to starting your gaming. DO NOT exceed that range, regardless of how tempting. If you happen to profit, put that in an alternate pot. Don’t risk your winnings regardless of what happens. Once you have wagered through your original predetermined limit, stop. Call it quits, regardless if it’s on the net or at a land based gambling hall, do not stay at the tables or machines. At all times keep in mind, there certainly is other days, other times. Obviously, this scheme usually will work for any game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, 21 or any other casino game.

Remember, wagering is supposed to be delightful not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If you cannot pay for the losses, do not ever begin.
